Terms & Conditions
Last Updated: August 2026
1. Agreement to Terms
These Terms and Conditions constitute a legally binding agreement made between you (whether personally or on behalf of a dental practice/entity) and Dental X, regarding your access to and use of our website (www.dental-x.co.uk) and our on-site dental equipment engineering and IT support services.
2. Services & Engineering Call-Outs
Dental X provides independent diagnostic, routine servicing, critical examinations, and IT infrastructure support for dental imaging equipment (including 2D/3D CBCT, intraoral X-ray units, and sensor hardware). Service bookings submitted via our website, telephone, or email are subject to availability and formal dispatch confirmation.
3. Practice Responsibilities & Access
When an engineer is dispatched to your premises, the client practice agrees to provide safe and unhindered access to the equipment, surgery rooms, relevant local IT servers, and network credentials necessary to carry out diagnostics and repairs.
4. Payment & Invoicing
Invoices for engineering call-outs, parts, labor, and maintenance retainers are issued upon completion of works unless otherwise agreed in writing. Standard payment terms are strictly 14 days from the date of invoice. Late payments may be subject to statutory interest under UK commercial debt legislation.
5. Regulatory Compliance & Radiation Safety
All imaging examinations, QA checks, and equipment handovers comply with applicable UK statutory frameworks, including IRR17 and IRMER17 standards. The client remains the designated legal Radiation Employer responsible for local rules, risk assessments, and radiation protection supervisor (RPS) appointments within their practice.
6. Limitation of Liability
While Dental X exercises professional diligence and technical expertise, to the maximum extent permitted by English Law, Dental X shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential business losses (including clinical downtime or lost patient revenue) resulting from pre-existing equipment failure or manufacturer component obsolescence.
7. Governing Law
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
